Trekking and Climbing Equipment List

Please find the gear list below: 

• Bags: Duffle Bag / Rucksack for the porter to carry, and a day bag pack to carry your needed things for the day.
  Headwear: Sun Hat, Woolen Hat
  Neckwear: Muffler, Buff (beanie), Shawl as a dust or cold protection
  Buddy wears:  Trekking Pants (quick-dry recommended). Jacket & Trousers, waterproof & windproof, fleece, down or fabric jacket, shirts.  T-shirts, warm, thin layers, jumpers/thermals, underwear/panties, very important.
  Handwear: Gloves, Thick & Thin
  Footwear: Comfortable, good sole, ankle support (4 seasons). trekking shoes, waterproof, thick shocks, thin shocks, a pair of flip-flops/slippers, and light sport shoes for the campsite.
  Sleeping: (4 seasons) Minus -20 or below, Sleeping bag to have a better night’s sleep in the Lodge or Tent
  Trekking: Dry Bags, may be an umbrella, Trekking Poles (stick)
  Drinking: Water Bottles must be hard plastic or Aluminium & a Thermos/flash bottle 1litre. For carrying tea or hot water for high altitude/high passes
  Medical & Wash Kit: Own First Aid Kit, Wash & Bath Kits, & Towel
  Personal Items: Photo Camera, Mobile phone or Handy, Charger, Book, Music & Flash Light/Head torch, Spare Batteries and power bank.
  Sun Protestations: Sun Glass, Sun cream
  Other Items: Small but very important (sewing kit). a Swiss knife, anti-insect spray, Lip salve/Lip Guard. Small bottle of hand sanitizer, Wet wipes (very handy). Cotton Liner for sleeping bag, Dairy, Card Binocular, Water purification tablets. We are environmentally friendly, we avoid plastic mineral water bottles, and gaiters (for walking through snow & peaks)
  

Possibility to Buy and Hire

Himalayan Trails recommended the Trekking and Climbing Equipment List. Almost all kinds of equipment (copy and Branded!) you can hire and buy in Kathmandu. Also, there are some possibilities in the higher mountains. If you are going to EBC, you can buy in Namche Bazaar. For the Annapurna, you get a chance in Pokhara for anything you may need in terms of equipment, food, snacks, medicines, and obviously some Souvenirs.

Baggage Allowance on mountain sector flights to Upper Dolpo, Jomsom & Lukla

Please note that standard Baggage limits at mountain region domestic airlines are 10kg and with a handbag, 5kg. Of course, you can live in your extra Travel bad or city clothes Hotel in Kathmandu or Pokhara. Surely, it can be a good Tip for you that you can wear your heavy jackets and trekking boots to help cut down on the weight of your bag. If you have extra heavy baggage, then pay an extra charge for the airplane, and we need to get more porters; therefore, you will be charged an excess cost for the trip to be paid in cash.
